A Linguagem e a Transformação Social

No cenário atual, está ficando cada vez mais comum a expressão “a pessoa que pare”. Isso tem sido pronunciado tanto nas conversas informais quanto nas plataformas institucionais e políticas. Mas o que de tão revolucionário tem nessa frase? Muitos de nós já estamos conscientes de que as ideologias de transformação social nesse tempo, que tem nos levado a miséria espiritual, física e emocional, tem encontrado grande força no uso da linguagem. Mudamos a maneira de falar, tanto para flexibilizar valores quanto para mascarar crimes, imoralidade, perversão, etc. Não parece palatável dizer “assassinato de bebês”, então dizemos “aborto”. Não temos mais apenas mulheres parindo mas mulheres que se sentem homens e não querem ser chamadas de mulheres, então dizemos “pessoas que gestam, parem, amamentam” e por aí vai. Se isso fosse apenas um jogo de palavras já seria bastante confuso e empobrecedor. Mas não é só isso. Esse não é o fim da linha. Com uma linguagem mais moderada e flexível, esses conceitos entram na atmosfera do lar e consequentemente da igreja.

O uso da legislação pelos que tem como objetivo a destruição da família avança rápido. Parece que quase diariamente somos alvejados por novas resoluções no cenário político que não estão em conformidade com a agenda de Deus para uma vida de Beleza, Verdade e Bondade. Os que são mais assíduos nas redes sociais, acabam tentando aplacar suas angústias em textos e divulgação de vídeos na tentativa de combater essa agenda. Mas precisamos nos perguntar o que de fato pode gerar grande efeito. O que verdadeiramente pode interromper e até parar o avanço de tanta imoralidade e auto sabotagem humana. É bem verdade que as plataformas institucionais e políticas foram praticamente tomadas por ideologias mui contrárias às escrituras. E isso faz parecer que a maioria de nós já foi absorvida por tanto engano. Mas talvez isso não seja verdade. E se, na verdade, apenas uma minoria encontrou espaço estratégico para gritar e se fazer parecer uma multidão? E se, na verdade, a maioria que hoje segue esses gritos apenas não tem força ou não tem acesso a Verdade, para que possam pelo menos ter direito de escolha?

A Revolução Começa em Casa

Diante de um cenário caótico para pensar em gerar filhos e criá-los, gostaria de nos encorajar a sermos radicalmente consistentes. Explico: E se, ao invés de apenas irmos a igreja, cumprir nossa agenda semanal cristã, marcar ponto nas redes sociais com nossos posicionamentos morais questionando as mudanças no uso da linguagem e todas as coisas que nos parecem um check list cristão, simplesmente decidíssemos lutar contra tudo isso sendo firmes e constantes em nossas casas? Isso significaria desligarmos nossas tvs para tudo o que não seja belo, verdadeiro e bondoso. Significaria vivermos as escrituras fielmente deixando nossos filhos nos verem comer o pão (a Palavra) antes mesmo de comermos o pão pela manhã. Significaria investir com todo o afinco em nossa vida conjugal primeiramente colocando diante do Senhor toda a nossa angústia com relação às imperfeições que ela carrega e dando o devido tempo e espaço para que Ele possa trazer vinho novo. Significaria deixar mais de lado a vida digital e investir pesadamente na formação teológica da família com tempos intencionais um a um, culto doméstico diário, devocionais, etc. Significaria menos legalismo familiar e discursos virtuosos e mais momentos de intercessão, arrependimento e confissão de pecados entre todos, sempre desejosos de muitas lágrimas pelos perdidos a começar pela própria casa.

É claro que concordamos que a igreja precisa estar preparada pra atuar em todas as esferas da sociedade como educação, saúde, esporte, arte, política, etc. Mas faço o convite a um passo anterior apenas. O passo da mãe de John e Charles Wesley há 300 anos atrás. Mãe de 19 filhos, que após o nono filho encontrava duas horas por dia para tempo de oração. Que teve como trabalho prioritário educar e apresentar a todos os filhos quem era Deus e como seria uma vida de fé a partir do seu próprio exemplo. Susanna não tinha redes sociais, nem influência política. Tão pouco deu aos filhos acesso às melhores escolas ou tecnologia. Mas a vida subversiva a qual Susanna apresentou aos seus filhos, indo contra inclusive muitos cristãos da sua época, permitiram um pouco mais tarde que a, até então Inglaterra, pudesse experimentar através dos filhos de Susanna, mudanças substanciais na educação, sistema prisional, miséria social como escravidão, etc. Como se não bastasse, além disso, através desses dois irmãos a Europa ainda foi varrida por uma onda de avivamento sendo aos milhares alcançados por Deus.

Uma palavra encorajadora para aquelas que desejam ser mães ou tem medo de gerar e criar num mundo perverso e aflito. Mais do que nunca é tempo de nascer filhos de Deus prontos para sacudir o mundo. Sejamos as mães e os pais subversivos que esse mundo tanto busca!
